Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Shreenithi Delight Studio, we understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or modify a service. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed for our services, including Photography & Videography, Web Design, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, and Website Development.

By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms stated in this policy.

1. Cancellation by the Client

The Client may cancel the services as follows:

Photography & Videography
  • Cancellation before the shoot date: If the Client wishes to cancel the booking, they must notify us in writing at least 5 days before the scheduled shoot date.

    • If cancellation is made 5 days or more before the shoot, the Client will receive a 75% refund of the deposit.

    • Cancellations made less than 10 days before the shoot will not be eligible for a refund of the deposit.

  • On the day of the shoot: If the Client fails to show up or cancels on the day of the shoot, no refund will be provided, and the full payment will be retained.

Web Design & Development
  • Cancellation before project initiation: If the Client cancels the project before work has begun, a full refund of any advance payment, minus any processing fees or costs already incurred, will be issued.

  • Cancellation after project initiation: If the Client cancels after the project has started, we will charge for the work already completed. Refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of the project completed at the time of cancellation.

    • Up to 50% of the project completed: Refund will be 60% of the payment already made.

    • More than 50% of the project completed: No refund will be provided, as the project is considered substantially complete.

Graphic Design
  • Cancellation during the design phase: If the Client cancels during the design phase, they will be charged for the work completed until the cancellation date. Refunds will be issued for the remaining balance after deducting the work completed.

  • Final Deliverables: Once the final design has been delivered and approved by the Client, no refunds will be issued.

Social Media Management
  • Cancellation before service commencement: If the Client cancels before the start of the service, a refund of any advance payment will be processed, minus any administrative or setup fees.

  • Cancellation after service commencement: If the Client cancels after services have started, the Client will be liable for the full payment for the period up to the cancellation date. Refunds will be issued only if services have not been performed for the period paid for.

    • Mid-term cancellation: If the Client cancels mid-month or mid-quarter, a pro-rated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the service.

2. Refund Process
  • Refund Requests: To request a refund, the Client must send an email to sdstudio.reach@gmail.com, clearly stating the reason for cancellation, project details, and any supporting documentation (if applicable). Refund requests must be made within 5 days of cancellation or termination.

  • Refund Method: All refunds will be processed through the original payment method. If payment was made by bank transfer, refunds will be credited to the same account.

  • Processing Time: Refunds will typically be processed within 7 business days after the cancellation request has been approved.

  • Non-refundable Fees: Administrative fees, setup fees, or any non-refundable costs incurred as part of the service delivery (e.g., third-party purchases, licenses, or software) will not be refunded.

3. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel services in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Failure to Provide Necessary Information: If the Client fails to provide the necessary materials or information required for the completion of the project.

  • Non-payment: If the Client fails to make required payments within the specified time.

  • Breach of Agreement: If the Client violates the terms of the agreement or engages in unethical or unlawful activities.

In the event that we cancel the services:

  • Before Project Commencement: If we cancel before starting work, a full refund will be provided.

  • After Project Commencement: If we cancel after the project has started, a refund will be issued for the portion of the work that has not yet been completed, based on the percentage of completion.

4. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, technical failures, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or continue the project, but no refunds will be issued.

5. Refunds Not Applicable To

Refunds will not be applicable in the following circumstances:

  • Change of Mind: If the Client simply changes their mind after the work has begun or been completed.

  • Completion of Work: Once a service or project has been completed and delivered to the Client.

  • Delay Due to Client: If delays in the project are caused by the Client's failure to provide timely feedback, information, or approvals.

6. General Terms
  • Amendments to Policy: We may update or amend this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. All changes will be communicated to the Client, and the updated policy will be available on our website.

  • Governing Law: This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes regarding cancellations and refunds will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in [City, State], India.
